Meet The Wreck Hunters Team
We’ve put together a team of vastly experienced and knowledgeable individuals…
Mike Haigh
Project Director
Mike is a passionate advocate for the archaeological treasures of the ocean.
With an impressive track record in diving archaeology under his belt, Mike was inspired to start the wreck hunters project as a way of creating a course which covers all the essential training required to learn the art and science of marine archaeology.
Toby Parker
Worldwide Historic Shipwrecks Consultant
Was closely associated with evolving techniques of shipwreck survey and excavation, especially through his involvement with the Nautical Archaeology Society. Of which, he was a founder member and at one time Chairman.
John McIntyre
Media and Communications Consultant
Has travelled the world producing images for many broadcasters and even became the underwater cameraman for the legendary children’s television programme Blue Peter.
Joanna Yellowlees-Bound
Project Consultant
Joanna has been a volunteer on countless underwater excavations over the years, including the Graf Spee, a so-called German ‘pocket battleship’ and Lord Nelson’s ship, the Agamemnon.
